We collect information you provide directly, such as:

• Account details — name, email address, mobile number, and password (stored as a secure hash, never in plain text).
• Birth details you enter for astrology readings — date, time, and place of birth.
• Order and shipping information when you purchase products from the Store.
• Messages you send to our AI Astrologer or to a live astrologer during chat.
• If you sign in with Google, your name, email address, and profile photo as shared by Google.

• To generate your Kundli, Panchang, horoscope, and other astrology readings.
• To verify your identity via one-time passcodes (OTP) sent to your email or mobile number.
• To process and fulfil Store orders, including sharing your shipping address with our delivery partners.
• To connect you with astrologers for live chat consultations.
• To send transactional messages — OTPs, order updates, and account notifications.
• To improve our services and respond to support requests.

We do not sell your personal data. We share it only with: payment processors (Razorpay) to complete purchases; SMS and email providers to deliver OTPs and notifications; astrologers you choose to chat with, limited to what's needed for the consultation; and law enforcement when legally required.

Passwords are hashed and never stored in plain text. Sessions use short-lived access tokens plus an httpOnly refresh cookie that isn't accessible to scripts, reducing the risk of theft even if the site is compromised by a malicious script. We use industry-standard encryption for data in transit (HTTPS).

• You can update your account details at any time.
• You can request deletion of your account and associated data by contacting support.
• You can opt out of non-essential communications; transactional messages (OTPs, order updates) can't be turned off, as they're required for the service to function.

AstroParrot is not directed at children under 18. We do not knowingly collect data from minors.

We may update this policy from time to time. We'll post the revised date at the top of this page.
